Tomato Sugar Scrub

Tomato Sugar Scrub Recipe:

Hello Everyone!!!

I hope you are enjoying my post, Today I am Sharing skin  exfoliation DIY( Tomato Sugar Scrub) I generally recommend natural products for skin as they are harmless. This scrub add shines to your face and even work for premature aging. Give it a try and you’ll find it good enough for your skin. So, Here we goes………………….

Things we needed.
2 cups granulated sugar
1 large tomato chopped
¾ cup oil (I used coconut)
5-20 drops essential oil (I used lemon and citronella)
Recipe Directions:
1)     Place sugar in a bowl and set aside; chop tomato very finely until you get it almost too mush.

2)     Place the mushy tomato in bowl with sugar and stir, slowly add oil into the bowl and stir;
3)     add the drops of essential oil to sugar scrub and stir.

4)     Store in an air tight container and place in fridge. Make sure to label your tomato sugar scrub.

I decided to end the summer with a lovely tomato sugar scrub that has a lovely citrus scent, although the sun is bright as ever and I am looking forward to cooler temps, I really enjoyed using tomato sugar scrub this summer.
Tomatoes are great for the skin and since they have lycopene, these properties help cool down the skin.
Not only are they great to eat (I do love them) they also go great in your homemade beauty products. There is no need for you to go to an expensive spa to get a tomato scrub treatment when you can do it yourself at home.
I am going to give you a few key ingredients too use as the sun is still shining bright.

Tomato sugar scrub is great to put on your skin before you go out, or for those days when  you forgot your sunblock and your skin starts to burn and peel. This scrub is a great way to cool that sun burn down. You can add any essential oils you want; I added lemon . This scrub should be use within a few days because the water content of the tomato will make the scrub go bad or even ferment. When you make big batches of tomato sugar scrub store in the freezer to keep the sugar scrub from going bad.

Make your Own Lip gloss :)

Make Your Own Lip Gloss

Living in Delhi, I've ended up melting my favorite chap stick (VLCC Cherry Lip Balm) in the car too many times to count. Usually I try to set it upright to cool, and hope it resettles the right way, but somehow it's never the same. So when I saw this DIY lip gloss tutorial, I thought it would be a great use for my melted chap stick.

What you need:
1. A metal ladle or measuring cup (You could also use a small glass measuring cup)

2. Your favorite chap stick (melted or brand new)
3. Vaseline
4. Lip Stick or Eye Shadow (for color)
5. Small containers
6. Boiling water or an open flame/source of heat

What you do:

1. Scrape out all of the chap stick from the tube and the lid and put it in your measuring cup.

2. Add a little bit of lipstick for color. Add some Vaseline. Use at least as much as the chap stick and lip stick combined. This makes the lip gloss creamier.

3. Melt the ingredients. There are a lot of ways to do this. You could probably microwave them all together, but sometimes microwaving things changes their chemical makeup, plus it's difficult to know when it's ready. I melted it like you heat up a baby's bottle. Just hold the measuring cup over a small pot of boiling water. Let the cup sit in the water, but don't let any water get into the cup. You could also hold the cup over a candle or open flame. It melts really quickly.

4. Stir the mixture together so that the color is even.

5. Pour it into your little containers. Let it cool on the counter or in the fridge.

6. Enjoy your Favorite Lip Gloss !

To help them here are few Tips to get Rid of Freckles at home .

1.    Apply Lemon Juice

Lemon Juice Acts as natural bleaching agent . Lemon juice is a highly effective ingredient that can be used to treat freckle as well as brown spots. Lemon juice has lightening properties and so it will nicely bleach the dark spots on your skin.
Usage
Take fresh lemon juice and with the help of your fingers apply it on the affected skin area and gently massage the area for ten to fifteen minutes. Finally rinse the skin with lukewarm water. Do this remedy twice a day. Another option is to dissolve some sugar in the juice of one lemon and then apply this mixture on to the affected area with the help of a brush. Gently massage for some time and then wash the skin with water.

2.    Sour Milk

The lactic acids present in sour milk can help a lot to get rid of freckles.

Usage
Take some sour cream and directly apply it on the affected skin area and allow it to dry for a few minutes. Instead of rinsing it off completely with water, you must gently wipe it off with a soft tissue or a towel and then apply some moisturizer. This remedy will not cause skin irritation or dryness. Follow this remedy at least once daily until the freckles go away. Alternatively you can also rinse the affected skin area with sour milk daily. In case you do not have sour milk, then you can always use yogurt.

3.    Honey

Apply Honey on Freckles

Usage

Make a mixture of honey and water and heat it slightly and then apply it on the affected area and allow it to sit for a few minutes. Finally rinse the area properly with warm water. You can also make an herbal mask at home by mixing wheat germ with warm honey. Apply this mask and allow it to sit for about ten minutes and then rinse the area with warm water and then wash it again with cold water. This is one of the most effective home remedies for freckles. Another option is to make a mixture of honey and yogurt, and apply it on the freckles for half an hour daily.
